Arcadie Montparnasse - Paris

Everything about this hotel was mediocore, especially my Standard Double Room, painfully small and the bedding was worse than my old college dorm. I also expected to be pampered with a room upgrade as a treat, but apparently they reserve that for the lucky few. Almost had a good review, but no, just couldn't.

Fairly clean hotel, lovely and kind team members despite their efforts. A wide array of excellant food for meals. Gorgeous & attractive rooms with a kettle and a shower, for instance. Great and amazing location to everything important, in the nice enough area. Easy walk to Creation Market.

Perfect and excellent location, 2 miles from city center...

The shower was excellent, but the trash can was disgusting on arrival.

By and large, it was chilled-out base for sightseeing in Paris, had much fun and met lovely and kind staff who shockingly then claimed to be the manager.

The hotel is well situated near Gare Montparnasse. Staff are friendly and the room was clean although a little smallish.

Consider requesting a quiet room on a higher floor for a better night's sleep.

The setting is good and magnificent, just off the Tour Montparnasse which has a very good restaurant at the top as well as an excellant market with EXCELLENT fruit, vegetables and cheeses, particularly nice area.

Pleasant hotel near transport and restaurants

The close location to Montparnasse Railway station- we had an early morning train to catch, and it was 3 minutes walk from Hotel to Platform.A convenient food store with deliciously fresh fruit, was right outside the Hotel door. Very helpful Hotel Staff- they recommended a delicious Restaurant close by- there were a few to chose from and of various cuisines. 24 hour staffing was reassuring in this busy area.Modern bathroom appreciated.

Whilst it was wonderful to be able to open the windows, being on the main street can be noisy- just ask for a back room if you want peace and quiet. As is often the case with older small hotels, the rooms can be compact

Have stayed in thi hotel for many years. Love the area, easy to transfer from airport and always a warm welcome.

excellent metro access, nearby restaurants and bakeries

Towels lack proper softness due to absence of fabric conditioner. Soundproofing in the rooms is insufficient, resulting in disturbances from outside noise!!!

Good local facilities, supermarket, cafes and a variety of reasonably priced eating places. Within walking distance of the city centre via the Jardin du Luxembourg. Only a short distance from a Metro station.

Pleasant staff, good cleanliness, excellent location (near pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants, and the Gaite metro station).

The hotel is small due to the narrowness of its building. However, if the traveler intends to spend most of the day walking around the city, such narrowness would be no problem.

The stay was quite pleasant, especially with the clean and comfortable family room we had, which included a nice bathroom. The location can't be beaten, with the Eiffel Tower and several eateries only a short distance away. It was great to have a small grocery store next door for snacks and essentials. A minor issue was the small elevator, which made navigating with our stroller a bit tricky. It was a lovely experience for our family outing in Paris.
